… ...walking down the streets, he carried a roaring torch, stopping at each lamp post he reached up high, lighting them one by one. I watched until he disappeared from sight, leaving a blazing trail that lit the way for all who followed….
There is darkness, stress, trial and tribulation all around us. It is easy, so very easy to get sucked into this stressful, tight, restrictive world. A world where there is not enough money, not enough food, not enough laughter, joy or love to go around…. And this, my friends, is the cause of so much of the stress in our life, this false idea of ‘not enough’.
So take a deep breath, I’m about ready to knock your socks off…. This idea, this belief so many in our world buy into of ‘not enough’, is just an illusion. There is enough, more than enough and the possibilities in our life are endless and the deep resonance in our soul cries out to experience these endless possibilities. Our minds, our fears and our judgments about ourselves hold us back.
So STOP.
Breathe.
Open your eyes and see the light. Look up and see this trail of fire blazing bright from the lamplighters who have gone before us, lighting our way on this path. Giving us the confidence we need to live our purpose, to follow our dreams.
